National board member and coordinator of the 1st session ‘Woods and forests: new environmental challenges’.
He worked in the Lombardia Region until 2021, directing the Regional Technical Services in the Provinces of Milan, Cremona and Pavia.
He held the position of Director General of the Regional Departments of Agriculture, Productive Activities, Civil Protection, Territory and Urban Planning, and Central Director of Organisation and Personnel. He was also Director of the ERSAF Agency for Agricultural and Forestry Services and Director of the OPR, the paying agency for EU agricultural subsidies.
Appointed by the Conference of Regions, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the ENSE National Seed Selection Agency and the INRAN National Institute for Agricultural Research.
For seven years, he was an adjunct professor of forestry at the University of Milan, Faculty of Agriculture. From 2019 to 2021, he was the Director General of Explora, the regional company dedicated to promoting tourism in Lombardia.
