Member of National board, he is one of the coordinators of the 4th session ‘Training, research and innovation: tools and actions for the profession of the future’
From 2009 to 2021, he was President of the local Order of Agronomists and Foresters of Matera, and also President of the Basilicata Federation from 2009 to 2014 and from 2019 to 2021.
He is a corresponding member of the National Academy of Agriculture, practises as a forestry agronomist as a court-appointed expert at the Court of Matera and has held technical roles in the Basilicata Region, where he is responsible for the certification of phytosanitary consultants, sellers and users, as well as being a phytosanitary inspector.
In the recent past, he served in the State Forestry Corps and at the University of Bari as a PhD student and, subsequently, as a research fellow.
He was a member of the Technical Scientific Committee at the Provincial Agency for Energy and the Environment of the Province of Matera from 2010 to 2015. He has authored over 50 publications, some of which are international and have an impact factor.
